A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring distribution of information regarding interpretation and translation services

This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) to provide parents with information about the interpretation and translation services DOE offers, including information on how to access such services and examples of how such services might be used. The required materials would be made available in English and in the 9 most common home languages of students enrolled in DOE schools.
