A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to unlawful methods of restraint during an arrest or attempted arrest
This bill would remove a prohibition on police officers from sitting, kneeling or standing on the chest or back of a person under arrest in a manner that compresses such person’s diaphragm.
