A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of parks and recreation to charge senior citizens, young adults, active members of the military, veterans and their minor children and persons with disabilities reduced admission fees to recreational facilities
This bill would require the Department of Parks and Recreation to charge senior citizens, young adults, persons with disabilities, active military personnel, and veterans and their minor children reduced admission fees to all department recreational facilities, including existing community recreation centers, museums, zoos, and botanical gardens. The bill also expands the existing reduced annual membership fee program to apply to active military personnel as well as the minor children of veterans and active military personnel.
