Increasing certain penalties for excessive noise from motor vehicles

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to increasing certain penalties for excessive noise from motor vehicles

The proposed bill would increase the penalties for certain motor vehicle related noise violations, including excessive noise from motor vehicles 10,000 pounds or less, excessive noise from motor vehicles 10,000 pounds or more, unauthorized use of motor vehicle claxons, and unauthorized use of motor vehicle air horns or gongs.
