Earned Safe and Sick Time Act

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the expansion of worker coverage under the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act

This bill would amend the definition of “employee” in the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act (the Act) to extend the Act’s benefits to independent contractors who meet certain conditions.
