Increasing the percentage of disability set aside units in affordable housing projects.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to increasing the percentage of disability set aside units in affordable housing projects

This bill would require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to require developers who receive city financial assistance for a housing development project to set aside at least 10 percent of units for individuals with mobility issues and at least 5 percent of units for individuals with vision or hearing impairments.
