Installation of solar-powered crosswalks.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the installation of solar-powered crosswalks

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to install at least 100 illuminated, solar-powered traffic control devices at crosswalks annually over the next 5 years. This bill would further require the Department of Transportation to study the efficacy of these devices in comparison with crosswalks without these devices.
