Public organic waste receptacles.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to public organic waste receptacles.
This bill would require the Department of Sanitation to install at least twenty-five public organic waste receptacles in every community district, prioritizing areas of high-pedestrian traffic. The Department would be required to empty such public organic waste receptacles at least once per week and post the locations of such receptacles on its website.
