A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to optional donations for spaying and neutering shelter animals on tax forms, applications and bills

This local law would require the Department of Finance to include a space to enable taxpayers to make a $5 donation to support the spaying and neutering of animals at city shelters where feasible on all department forms, applications and bills for any tax year commencing on or after January 1, 2022. Such donations would be administered by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
