Declaration of a public nuisance by the department of housing preservation and development in connection with lead hazards

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the declaration of a public nuisance by the department of housing preservation and development in connection with lead hazards

This bill would require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to declare a lead hazard a public nuisance where the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene issues a commissioner’s order to correct or remediate a condition related to lead hazards.
