Estimating the annual expenditures required to provide legal services for tenants who are subject to eviction proceedings.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to estimating the annual expenditures required to provide legal services for tenants who are subject to eviction proceedings

This bill would require the coordinator of the Office of Civil Justice to prepare the annual estimate of expenditures necessary to implement the right-to-counsel law with the assumption that individuals providing legal services are paid at parity with attorneys working for the Law Department.
