A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring drop-in centers to participate in the streamlined intake process for runaway and homeless youth to transition into adult shelters.
This bill would require drop-in centers to participate in the streamlined intake process for youths aging or timing out of shelters operated or funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development, and who intend to transfer to adult shelters.
