Creating the offense of fostering the sale of stolen goods.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to creating the offense of fostering the sale of stolen goods

This bill would create a new offense prohibiting individuals and businesses from fostering the sale of stolen goods by advertising or assisting in the sale of stolen goods on online marketplaces and third party sellers, or by other means. This offense will be classified as a Class A misdemeanor.
