Information regarding alternatives to incarceration.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to information regarding alternatives to incarceration

This bill would require the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (“MOCJ”) to work with the Office of Court Administration to promote the display of information regarding alternatives to incarceration in courts. MOCJ would also be required to forward such information to the City’s district attorneys and public defenders.
