Reporting on medical care and outcomes for incarcerated pregnant persons in the custody of the department of correction.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting on medical care and outcomes for incarcerated pregnant persons in the custody of the department of correction

This bill would require the Department of Correction, in consultation with relevant agencies, to report annually on medical care and outcomes for incarcerated pregnant persons. This bill would also require the Department to annually submit such report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council and post it on its website.
