A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to amending the reporting of pay and employment equity data
This bill would amend the existing Pay Equity Law, Local Law 18/2019, by requiring the Department of Citywide Administrative Services to collect and provide additional employment data to the Council, through the Office of Data Analytics, for the purpose of identifying pay disparity in the municipal workforce. This bill would eliminate time limitations on the Council’s access to such data.
