Improving the flow of traffic during street construction.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to improving the flow of traffic during street construction

This proposed law would ensure that there is someone available to direct traffic during temporary street closures by requiring street closing permit holders to have on site a person who is authorized by law to conduct traffic. The police department and other persons authorized by the New York City Commissioner of Transportation would enforce this law.
