Prohibiting new electronic cigarette retailers near schools.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to prohibiting new electronic cigarette retailers near schools

This bill would prohibit new electronic cigarette retail dealer licenses from being issued to businesses that are less than 500 feet from a school. This prohibition would not apply to existing license holders in these areas, who would continue to be able to renew their licenses as long as they met all other requirements.
