A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to increasing certain penalties for excessive noise from a personal audio device on or inside a motor vehicle

The proposed bill would increase the penalties for unreasonable noise emanating from a personal audio device on or in a motor vehicle. The new penalties would range from $200 to $2,100, depending on the number of violations committed within the preceding two years.
