A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to use of non-deadly physical force in self-defense by a peace officer or security guard at a shelter
This bill would prohibit the Commissioner of Homeless Services from implementing a policy that prevents peace officers and security guards at homeless shelters from using non-deadly physical force in self-defense in the course of carrying out their duties.
