A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to quarterly reporting by the administration for children’s services on the amount of time children spend in the children’s center or temporary placement facilities
This bill would require the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council, and post on the ACS website, a quarterly report about the amount of time that children spend in the children’s center or a temporary placement facility. The report would include information about the number of days spent in a facility, the type of facility, the age of the child, the level of care recommended, the number of children placed in a facility for the first time and the number of children placed in a facility on two or more occasions.
