Licensing and use of autonomous vehicles as taxis.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the licensing and use of autonomous vehicles as taxis

This bill would require the Taxi and Limousine Commission to make rules regulating the use of autonomous vehicles as taxis, particularly with respect to licensing, safety, vehicle standards, reporting of trip and fare information, and insurance.
