A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the office of the taxpayer advocate
This local law would require the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate (OTA) to establish and distribute a taxpayers’ bill of rights and issue an annual report regarding the activities of the office. The Department of Finance would be required to include contact information for the OTA on notices related to taxes and benefits and on the Department’s website.
