Procurement opportunities for veteran owned business enterprises.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to procurement opportunities for veteran owned business enterprises

This bill would require the Department of Small Business Services, with the City’s Chief Procurement Officer, to enable veteran owned business enterprises to identify as such when registering to do business with the City. This bill would also require SBS, with the Department of Veterans’ Services, to create a Veteran Leadership Advisory Program to educate veteran owned business enterprises about City procurement opportunities and support such business enterprises during the procurement process.
