Requiring employers to hold an onboarding meeting to discuss an employee's reintegration back into the workplace after parental leave.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring employers to hold an onboarding meeting to discuss an employee's reintegration back into the workplace after parental leave
This bill would require employers to hold a meeting with employees who are returning to the workplace after taking parental leave. Guidelines for this meeting would be developed by the City’s Commission on Human Rights, with the goal of improving the reintegration process for the employer and employee. Employees who do not wish to participate in the meeting must opt out in writing.
