DOT to establish a program to allow community centers, schools, arts and cultural institutions and religious institutions to use adjacent outdoor spaces.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of transportation to establish a program to allow community centers, schools, arts and cultural institutions and religious institutions to use adjacent outdoor spaces

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to create an Open Spaces program that allows community centers, schools, arts and cultural institutions and religious institutions to apply for a permit to temporarily use outdoor spaces adjacent to such institutions for community programming.
