Establishing a citywide incident management system.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to establishing a citywide incident management system
This bill would establish a standardized incident management system to be used during all local emergencies or incidents. The adoption of a standardized incident management system will help improve emergency response efforts among city agencies and enhance the City’s ability to respond to and recover from local emergencies or potential incidents which require a multi-agency response within the city. The Commissioner of Emergency Management would be required to develop and provide ongoing maintenance to the Citywide Incident Management System established by this bill.
