A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring certain death certificates to be provided to public administrators on an expedited basis

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, in fulfilling a request for a death certificate by a public administrator in New York City, to fulfill the request on an expedited basis if the public administrator so requests. This would enable the public administrator to administer the estate of the decedent in a timely manner.
