A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the police department to report on how often it engages in surreptitious DNA collection.
This bill would require the NYPD to report on how often they engage in the surreptitious collection of DNA samples in the investigation of a crime, including demographic information of the individuals whose samples are collected.
