A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to granting the office of the inspector general and the department of records and information services access to body-worn camera footage

This bill would require the New York Police Department to share all body-worn camera footage to both the Department of Investigation’s Inspector General for the NYPD and the Department of Records and Information Services, within 5 days of the recording.
