Distressed property consultant disclosures and homeowner foreclosure prevention education.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to distressed property consultant disclosures and homeowner foreclosure prevention education

This bill would expand on the disclosures distressed property consultants are required to make to prospective customers. This bill would also require the Department of Finance, in conjunction with the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, to create and make available a guide for homeowners regarding foreclosure prevention education.
