Creating a water account database.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to creating a water account database

This bill would require the Commissioner of Environmental Protection to create a searchable online database through which anyone who registers and pays a periodic subscription fee may access information relating to water meters, with the exception of 1-3 family homes. Such information will include, but not be limited to, water meter billing data and balances, consumption usage and technical information about the water meter.
