Replacement of pavement markings after street resurfacing work.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the replacement of pavement markings after street resurfacing work

This bill would require that any person, including utility companies, private developers and other business entities, but not including the Department of Transportation, must repaint all pavement markings within seven days after paving or resurfacing a street. The maximum civil penalty for a violation would be $2,500.
