Providing information relating to behavioral health services.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to providing information relating to behavioral health services

This bill requires the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to develop a list of all free behavioral health services and share the information with any City agency that provides direct services to young adults, families, and children. DOHMH would also be required to train the identified agencies on appropriate dissemination of the information and ensure that the developed list would be available on the appropriate agencies’ websites.
