A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to establishing a task force to study the hazards and economic impacts of elevated railways and providing for the repeal of such amendment upon expiration thereof
This bill would require the Department of Transportation to create a task force to study noise levels, vibrations, quality of life issues, and potential dangers and hazards created by trains traveling on elevated railways and would provide recommendations in a semiannual report submitted to the Mayor and the City Council.
