City agency food waste prevention plans.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to city agency food waste prevention plans

This bill would require all city agencies with food procurement contracts to develop and implement a plan for reducing food waste. This bill would require each such agency to designate a coordinator to produce annual reports including information on the agency’s food waste prevention plan and measures taken to implement such plan.
