Establishment of an office to provide support to those in need of burial assistance.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the establishment of an office to provide support to those in need of burial assistance

This bill would require the Department of Social Services (DSS) to establish an office to provide support and assistance to individuals who have lost a loved one and need information about and help accessing public burial, a burial allowance or any similar program.
