Requiring the dept of small business services to offer certain business services including training and education.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of small business services to offer certain business services including training and education

This bill would require the New York City Department of Small Business Services (“SBS”) to provide small businesses with training and education related to business operations, marketing, and regulatory compliance. SBS may also offer other assistance it deems necessary. SBS would also be required to annually report on the type and number of training and education programs it offers annually, and the number of people who participate in such programs.
