Requiring community notification when a bike share station is installed or relocated.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring community notification when a bike share station is installed or relocated

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to provide notifications to council members and community boards when bike share docking stations are installed, relocated or will be relocated as well as to bike share program participants who utilize the relocated site. The notification would be provided immediately after the Department of Transportation approves the installation or move, except in cases of emergency relocation.
