Redacting the name of physicians whose license has been surrendered or revoked from birth certificates.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to redacting the name of physicians whose license has been surrendered or revoked from birth certificates

This bill would allow an individual to request that the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene redact the name of a physician from a birth record when that physician’s license has been surrendered or revoked by the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
