Prohibiting the sale of non-Energy Star labeled products.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to prohibiting the sale of non-Energy Star labeled products
This bill would prohibit the sale of products belonging to a product category for which exist Energy Star standards unless such product is Energy Star labeled. The bill provides for penalties of not more than $250 for a first violation, and of not more than $500 for each subsequent violation.
