Notifying tenants of their obligations under the noise control code.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to notifying tenants of their obligations under the noise control code

This bill would require owners of multiple dwellings to distribute a notice to new and renewing tenants about their obligations under the noise control law. This bill would also require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to develop the form of the notice and would subject owners to a $250 penalty for violations.
