A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the definition of freelance worker

This bill would exempt real estate brokers, associate real estate brokers, and real estate salespersons from the definition of “freelance worker” in Local Law 140, which establishes protections for freelance workers, including the right to written contract, the right to be paid timely and in full, and the right to be free of retaliation.
