Requiring the NYPD to issue public reports on the department’s use of body-worn cameras.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the New York City police department to issue public reports on the department’s use of body-worn cameras
This bill would require the Police Department to submit quarterly public reports on information regarding the use of body-worn cameras. Additionally, the department would be required to annually publish information on each incident requiring an officer to engage body-worn cameras in accordance to Department policy.
