Providing notice to minors included in the criminal groups database.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to providing notice to minors included in the criminal groups database

This bill would require the NYPD to notify minors designated as suspected gang members or affiliates in a gang database (“criminal groups database”) and provide an opportunity for those minors to contest their designation. The bill would also require the NYPD to report information about the database.
