A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of education to report on procedures following receipt of a notice of misconduct about an employee of a school bus vendor
This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) to share with parents and post on its website how parents can file a complaint about a school bus employee, the process by which the department investigates such a complaint, and the possible results of such an investigation. The bill also requires DOE to share the protocols for school bus services in inclement weather emergencies.
