Concrete Bills

Requiring film companies to provide residents with at least 72 hours’ notice when film shoots will disrupt parking.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring film companies to provide residents with at least 72 hours’ notice when film shoots will disrupt parking

This bill would require that film companies provide residents with at 72 hours’ notice when parking will be disrupted due to filming. The city already informally requires that companies provide 48 hours’ notice. This bill would codify that policy and expand the timeframe to allow residents to respond.
