Fire department’s recruitment of individuals with prior military service.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the fire department’s recruitment of individuals with prior military service

The bill would require the Fire Department to implement a comprehensive plan for increasing the recruitment and hiring of individuals with prior military experience. Additionally, the Department would be required to report on relevant recruitment efforts, and the rates of hiring of individuals with prior military experience.
