A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the police department to submit reports on incidents with the public that result in bodily harm or death
This bill would require the NYPD to report annually on injuries and deaths that occur in police-civilian encounters, disaggregated by whether the injured party was a civilian or a police officer, whether there was use of force by a police officer in the encounter, the reason for the encounter, and demographic information of the injured party.
