A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to organic waste requirements for food service establishments, food manufacturers and food wholesalers in rat mitigation zones

This bill would allow the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) to require that food manufacturers, food wholesalers, and food service establishments in areas that are prone to high rat activity engage in special organics collection to avoid attracting rats.
